Sophomore year of high school we read the book Into The Wild. We had to write a paper about why Christopher McCandless was an existentialist. I wrote that he was not, in fact, a pure existentialist as he so claimed because he chose to reside in a derelict manmade bus rather than completely living off the land. I failed. Still pissed.
it actually literally confuses me when people are uninterested/uneducated in politics and current events. like.. don’t you care what’s going on in the world?! these things affect YOUR life!
honestly the ONLY character i like in generation 3 is Mini.
but she still does not even come close to Effy’s greatness.
funny when republicans say dems create too much gov’t control when, you know, republicans are en route to giving me absolutely no control over my own body.
tired of people trying to convince me that any of the republican candidates are good and/or worthy of presidency. they’re all shit. thanks.

sometimes you have to do things that you don’t want to do. something that will kill you right now will make you happy in the long run. ups and downs of terrible and fantastic triumph a static life of boredom.
